There are many ways to celebrate the New Year. Some might head down to Siloso Beach at Sentosa to enjoy the foam party which is held every New Year's Eve since 5 years ago. Some might head down to Marina Bay or the Esplanade to watch the beautiful lighting spectacle.
In New York for example, hundreds of thousands of people will flood the streets near Time Square and witness the countdown together. Others who are not excited about the New Year would probably be at home, tucking into their beds before the stroke of midnight. But atleast one person will be eating a tub of ice cream, either watching television or glue his eyes onto the computer screen and watch as his MSN chat windows 'pops' out revealing New Year greetings from his contacts.
I was an early bird today, my mother's loud voice awoke me from my sleepy slumber. No she did not intend to wake me up, its the volume of her voice as she converse with my father. Naturally she has a loud voice but she fail to realise that her son also has a perfect hearing. Sometimes I wonder how loud will it be if she were to shout out of rage?
Anyways, I groggily walk to the living room. My mom wishing me good morning. I took the straits time and read the latest news happening around the world. Not that much though, mostly its a recap of the hottest news during year 2005. From the trial of Michael Jackson, to Wayne Rooney's unsporting antics to the NKF saga.
One current news caught my attention though, which police predicts will happen tonight on New Year's Eve. A sex orgy is being organise at Langkawi and to date, about a hundred local/tourists has applied for the event. Talk about a fun, exciting but illegal party. Police are striving to stop the party, well good luck to them. It won't surprise me if the police themselves join in the fun. Atleast the party-goers will leave there feeling satisfied.
