Let the 'O' Level examinations begin
Guess my risk paid off.
For social studies, instead of studying 3 or 4 topics out of 14, i chose to study only one. Luck was on my side today as that one topic did come out for Essay question. I chose to study Venice as it was the topic that everyone was predicting will come out for the paper. Hence, i studied Venice only and focus my attention to Mathematics paper 1.
Firstly, i don't like the schedule for this year's 'O' Level exams. Combining both social studies and Maths paper 1 to me, is not a good way to kick start the exams. However, instead of complaining and whining about it, i might as well face that brutal fact and work on it.
I must say, i did quite okay for Maths paper 1. Hoping to do better than my prelims, although my prelims is much easier compared to this. Social studies, well nothing much can be said about it. I do not know if i did well for my source-based questions. Its pretty hard to judge as there is no fixed answer to the question. What matters most is the way the question is being answered. For essay question, i'm confident of doing pretty well. I studied Venice and it came out!
Before the paper, i was contemplating if a situation arise where Venice did not come out for social studies. If that happens, i would probably be screwed and flung my Humanities. Lucky me, it didn't.
Therefore, overall i think i did okay for my first day. Tomorrow will be Chemistry paper. So yeah, hopefully the first day jitters will fade away tomorrow.
