Prelim results
Its the start of the week and i have received a few of my results for Prelims. Overall my results has been quite okay, although there is a tinge of disappointment for some subjects. As predicted, carelessness pull my marks down for Physics. However, i did not expect it to result in a failure for my Physics. Its the first time i failed my Physics paper 2. Although i failed by only half mark, 32/65, my careless mistakes really cost me dear. About 11 marks were gone due to careless mistakes. I really got to do something regarding my carelessness.
I was quite overjoyed for Maths. From a pathetic F9, i got a B4! Yup, i'm quite happy with my marks and i'm striving to get a B3 for 'O' Level. Well, atleast i'm contented with my Maths for now. A B4 is a great improvement. I also pass chemistry. Thus, overall i passed my science. I really have to thank Cik Mah, my tuition teacher, for tutoring me these few months. Eversince she tutor me, i have been gradually progressing and improving. Without her, i will probably be struggling to pass both subjects.
The rest of my subjects, i have not yet receive the marks. However i heard from students from the other classes that English was poorly done. About 8 passed from 5N2, and they are generally considered to be better in English than my class. So yeah, i was hoping on getting a B3 for English atleast. Then i might stand a chance of getting below 20 points.
Anyways, Prelims are just a gauge for the 'O' Levels. Although it is important to do well, it's not going to affect the 'O' Level. Just like what Dr.Ng said during the short seminar after recess. Right after recess, the 'O' Level students had a short seminar by Dr. Ng. He is a hilarious guy. He has some potential to be a stand-up comedian. His talk was very interesting and funny. He has this unique way of reaching out to students. I really enjoyed his talk. His pointers on doing well for exams and believing in ourselves. Who knows, i might use one of his advice's.
