Prelim report
Just received my report books today. My L1R4 is 18 points, eligible to go to Poly. It's an improvement from my Mid-Year results which is 26 points.
Plus points: I past my maths for prelims whereas during mid-year, i failed. Therefore, the only subject i failed is humanities. Humanities isn't that important unless you are striving to go to Junior College. However, i'm aiming to go to Polytechnic therefore it is not relevant.
Targets: Since i manage to achieve my previous target of below-2o points, my new target will be to achieve below-15 points. Improvements on science and English is necessary. My Science i'm trying to push for a B4 or B3. My English atleast a B3. I'm quite disappointed actually with my English Prelims. 1 more mark and i could have gotten a B3. My maths i could do better. For science, i'm currently under-performing. I must get my distinction for Physics, that is a priority for me right now. Other than that, i'm quite pleased with my results and i'm optimistic about the upcoming 'O' Levels.
After a day's absent, i returned to school today. It was boring as usual. During the 3 maths period, Ms Yong was not around thus we had the periods free. D&T lesson was conducted by Mr Chua. As expected, the lesson was quite fun but pure nonsense. Today's social studies lesson i did not turn up, i went home instead. I'm still having a slight fever however i just pretty much ignore it. Reached home around 1pm, then i slept till 3pm when i have to wake up and go to tuition.
After tuition, my family break fast at my Auntie's house. My grandma went over there and cook Lontong. My auntie pretty much can't cook herself and my grandma is the only person that can cook very well thus it is only logical that she does the cooking. I would not want to eat something that's edible yet unpleasant. After break fast, we all discuss about breaking our fast at a hotel somewhere next week. All the women and the girls were up for it. However, in my opinion, i prefer eating at home. The food is free delicious, compared to a hotel where you have to pay atleast $20+ per head. It's not being pragmatic. Fortunately, even my dad agrees with me. Haha, like father like son. Great minds do think alike in many ways.
