Piece of mind
Ever wished being loved by someone whom understands you, cares for you and above all, treats you with the same respect as you have given her/him. Well, we only wish it will happen but that doesn't mean it will come true.
Today i'm gonna post my reflection and opinion about one of my friend's problem. She chatted with me yesterday night regarding her broken heart and feeling depressed. Just a few months ago, i was quite happy for her. She told me her own good news that she loved a guy and is currently in a relationship with him. She said she was feeling happy and in love with him. Well, we all do feel that way during the first moments of a new relationship. Its the same as getting married. The first week is heaven. We have our honeymoon, sleepless nights and we feel as if nothing can go wrong.
However my dear friend, the true test and obstacle will come only after the first two months. From that point onwards, then you will know the true colours of the one you love. And in most cases, many complain that the one they love is a changed person. Well... Personally, i disagree. The person doesn't changed. He was the same person from the time you first fall in love with till now. It's just that you didn't realise it. Usually, most people will like to show their 'good' behavior towards others. Its like your fiancee meeting your parents for the first time. I'm sure your fiancee would want to make a good first impression.
I'm not discouraging people to make a good first impression to others. All i'm saying is, try not to create an impression which is fake. Apparently, that's what your former boyfriend did. You said to me that you knew fully what he was like. His character, likings and despise. Well, turth be told, you didn't even understand him one bit. Maybe you were just looking but you weren't actually seeing. Any fool can look at a person, however when you look, you only look at the outside of him. You must see the person, only then you can see the inside of him as well.
Hmm, if you don't understand what im trying to say, here's an easier breakdown. When you look, you only see the outside of him. You do not see his true nature, you only see a vague reflection of him. It's the same as seeing ripples of water rather than a clear water. However, by seeing him, you actually can understand him although not completely. With that being said, i hope you know what mistake you had done. Don't worry, you're not the only one making this mistake. Best thing is to learn from it
