Holidays as it is
This June holiday is a welcome break for me. Although the first two weeks was packed with remedials and school stuffs, i must say that it rather eventful compared to the last two weeks which i spent rotting at home. Highlights of this June holidays would be the Taman Warisan Concert and 5N1 class BBQ.
Truth be told, it was a dull and boring holiday. But i needed the break since i was so cramped up with studies and the pressure is taking its toll on me. 2 days more and school will re-open. Definitely not looking forward to Mr Ng's welcome speech. I mean sitting at the quadrangle at 7.30am and listening to him speak is not a great way to start the new term. Besides, all he does is just yakked about basic principles that doesn't even make any sense.
Remember what Ms Yong says; 'There is a catch to what he is saying'.
Well, if there is a catch which i don't think it exists by the way, i'm better off catching fish. Atleast i have a better chance of catching fish then trying to catch what he is trying to say. Ms Yong, no offence but i think you're thinking too much. Besides, if he does has a point to say, just be straightforward. Siglap students are not the exceptional students who look forward into coming to school. We are those types of students who would rather see their friends than their teachers.
With that said, i'm still wondering what i 've learn from this holidays. Hmm, i try to make a point to learn something everytime. And this holiday shouldn't be any different. What i have learn??
1. Trust the person but not the devil inside. By doing so, i guess my things won't get stolen
2. Never make empty promises. Promised myself to do my homework after the BBQ, till today have not even start yet
3. Don't run away from problems, deal with it head-on. And for that moment, do not care about others except yourself.
4. Perseverence is continuing a course of exception without regard of discouragement or previous failure
