Mid Year Exams
Exams is upon us, and it is this time of the year when students frantically take down notes, mesmorise the topic and study. Yup, the so-called spirit of Mid Year Exams is with us again and nothing has changed since then. Today i had Science practical exam, for the first time since we did not have any practical exams before. Physics was a breeze, they tested on pendulum bob. If i'm not mistaken that was the first experiment we learned and that was way back in sec 3. Niwaes, the graph was abit tricky. My axis and the scale differs from other students, that was expected of course because each of us had different timing of periods.
Chemistry was quite hard. I had to think for 5 mins just to understand one particular question. The way the question is put, it kinda like asking me to find something else instead of the answer. However, i manage to understand it. (",) One experiment i loved was the last experiment. It requires us to mixed solid Y with solid calcium hydroxide in a test tube. Then in another test tube, i was supposed to fill it with aqueous something2. Hehe, sori i don't know the name of the chemical. Chemistry is soo not my forte.
Then, i had to place a bung in the Solid Y and calcium hydroxide test tube and heat it with a bunsen burner. The bung should not touch the solution Z. A i heat the solution Y, gas starts to formed and it travel through the bung and into the test tube with solution Z. Then, the solution Z which is light blue in colour, changed to dark blue and a blue precipitate is formed. And it happened without the bung touching it. So its like the gas directly reacts with solution Z. It was nice and the excess gas escapes the test tube.
Alrightey then, enough of practical exams. Tomorrow i'm having paper 1 for both English and malay. Easy but very long-winded. I need to write quite alot. Just now after practical exam, went to eat with Ashaari, Moses and Raziz at S-11.Now here i am, just got back home and chatting at MSN.
