Total Defence Day & The Day After It...
Tuesday is Total Defence Day. It commemorate the day when Singapore fell to the Japanese and the start of the Japanese Occupation. Singapore suffered during the occupation and many died of starvation. Total Defence Day reminds us of the hardships that was inflicted on us and it serve as a reminder that we can no longer depend on foreigners to protect us.
Total Defence Day in my skool is always the same as usual. In the morning, the principal will yack bout the significance of Total Defence Day and how it is important to us. Den we had our fire drill evacuation exercise and food rationing. The fire drill exercise was kinda ok, cos the weather was so hot and the students had to stand at the school field while the teachers go bout their duty. Furthurmore, we were wearing our tie on that day so it was reallie warm. The most funny thing bout the exercise was the blunder that the teacher made. Whoever was in-charge of the medical team sent the first 'hoax' ambulance away without any casualties. That means the ambulance was on its way to hospital without any injured person, in other words the ambulance had no passenger.. Hahahahx, reallie the teachers should use a bit of common sense.
The food rationing exercise did have some problems too. Mardhiah and Kenny made a mistake by cutting the coupons into half. Cos there's 2 50 cents on the sides of the coupon therefore they tot that the coupon must be cut into half before it is distributed to the class. When we go for recess, the coupons can't be used. So i had to wait till after skool den i can eat cos by that time the canteen vendors had started to sell the usual food. Its no surprise that i ate rice wif nuggets and hash brown twice, cos i was really hungry at that time.
Todae was a really tiring dae. I had physic for the first time in 2 weeks, i reallie enjoyed the long break from physics. Kinda relieved cos im getting bored wif it, a break from it will surely bring back my interest in the subject. Todae's POA lesson was a real BORE! I had to sit on the floor of the AVA room twice cos i was making too much noise.. But in fact, there were others that were much more noisier den me. It juz so happens that i was insulting his effort to create jokes that were reallie lame. Guess he should accept that fact, instead of asking me to sit on the floor twice even though i did my work.
After skool, i had SNO practice. We are preparing for the SYF competition n we are playing two songs. Romo Ono Maleng and Danny Boy. Romo Ono Maleng was played at our Solo concert and Cest La vie 3. So, wats left is juz to teach the sec one's the song. Our new piece, Danny Boy is reallie a nice sentimental song. Its soothing, relaxed and slow. Although its not finished, the song has been good so far. But confirm Mr Khamis will change the song as time goes by, he will change the chords and the notes unexpectedly but it always turns out better. (",)
After SNO practice, i went home cos i had mengaji at 8.30pm. Before i bath, i chatted wif Ifah on the MSN for a while. OUR FRENSTER ACCOUNT IS NOT WORKING!!!! We can't log in and Ashaari told me that my account was invalid at his frens list. If tats true, it means that my account has been deleted. Argh!! I too lazy oredi to make a new one and invite my frens again.
After mengaji, got back and continued chatting on MSN while watching American Idol. The good news bout my frenster was that Hazatul's account has my account on her frens list. And it was not invalid. Yan also can't log in, and i chatted wif him for quite a while. Pracitcally arguing for fun, hahahahx.. Great pal to talk wif, no matter how lame the topic is we were still able to make it fun and entertaining..
Alritey then, i'l end here 2nite. I'm watching theater komedi at Suria now. Its damn funny, seeing all the actors making jokes and singing the song Dondang Sayang in humourous fashion. I'l post again if i have the time tomorrow, if not den the day after tomorrow. Bye2
